Shipping & Delivery:
Where the Fold Can Travel.
At present, orders from The Forgotten Fold are available for delivery within the United Kingdom only.
The pathways may extend further in future, but for now I am keeping each journey close enough to oversee with care.
Preparing Your Order:
Every order is carefully checked, wrapped and prepared in the Workshop before dispatch.
Please allow 5–7 working days for preparation unless a different timescale is stated on the product page. Working days exclude weekends and UK bank holidays.
This preparation period is separate from the delivery time.
Delivery Service:
All orders are sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48.
Royal Mail aims to deliver Tracked 48 parcels within 2–3 working days after dispatch. This is an estimated delivery time rather than a guaranteed service.
Postage is charged at a flat rate of £3.95 per order and will be shown at checkout before payment is completed.
Tracking:
Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
Please allow a little time for the tracking information to update after your parcel has been accepted by Royal Mail.
Packaging Records:
Every order is carefully wrapped and sealed before leaving the Workshop.
A photograph of the completed parcel is taken before dispatch as part of my packing records.
Delays or Missing Parcels:
Occasionally, even well-marked paths take longer than expected.
If your tracking has not updated or your parcel appears to be delayed, please contact me through the Post Room. I will investigate the journey with Royal Mail.
Order Cancellations:
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact me as soon as possible.
Your statutory cancellation rights may continue after dispatch and delivery. Certain clearly personalised or made-to-order items may be exempt. Full details will be provided on the Returns & Exchanges page.
A Final Note:
Every parcel leaves the Fold with care, not haste.
Your piece will begin its journey as soon as it is ready, and you will receive tracking details once it has crossed the Threshold.
